Bangalore Mountaineering Club is 6 years old Adventure Club having near to 10000 members now. We organize Outdoor and Adventure events every weekend. Registration of the events happen mostly thru website. Participants interact with us thru calls, email and website. This process requires lots of interaction and people do call us to clarify doubts, to know more about events, registration etc.

Candidate will be responsible to handle following areas mainly:

1. Tracking the registration thru website and their payment thru Bank transfer, Credit card – Just to make sure and confirm that people participating in the event have paid the money and confirmation email has been send on time.

2. Attend telephone calls from information seekers. Primary contact mobile number of the club will be with candidate during duty hours.

3. Training will be provided for preparing event schedule, posting on the website and sending announcement email. This way we communicate with thousands of people in one go, so there wont be tolerances for repeated mistakes.

4. Maintaining attendant register, making cheques, letters, keeping eye on clubs cash flow and making weekly report.

5. Preparing proposals, negotiations and finalizing of corporate events.

6. Little bit of operations: For events we hire vehicles, book hotels, avail permissions from respective govt dept.

7. Little bit of accounts: After arrival of batch, getting accounts from Event coordinators, putting it into excel and sending out to Accountant.

8. In terms of development of the Club, we are expected to take initiative exploring new opportunities – person having interest and ability to dive in this area will be most preferred candidate.

Requisites:

• Fluent in English. Kannada speaking person will be highly preferred.
• Good at Soft skills and communication
• Should have experience with MS Office, Internet. Great if candidate also knows Tally.
• Ability and interest to learn new things and step into new areas.
• Decision making ability.
