Volunteers/ Interns Required- Marketing & Communications

If you like interacting with people over social media platforms (blogs, social media sites etc) and would like to use and enhance your skills while creating an impact on society and the world at large, United Prosperity (a US 501(c)(3) non-profit) offers you a great opportunity.

What you will do -

  • Promote United Prosperity (UP) on social media platforms.
  • Reach out to bloggers/ freelance writers.
  • Reach out to local media (newspapers & magazines).

About United Prosperity

United Prosperity gives you the opportunity to help poor entrepreneurs directly by lending a loan guarantee that makes a bigger loan. Our model of Guarantee-Loan-Impact is unique since you can help people directly, maximize your impact, transform communities and alleviate poverty. Each $1 you contribute acts as collateral or a guarantee with a bank. Based on the guarantee the bank makes a loan of nearly $2 to the entrepreneur though a partner Microfinance Institution (MFI).

The entrepreneur’s progress can be tracked online. On loan repayment you get your money back and you can recycle it. Importantly, the MFI builds a relationship and its credit history with the local banking system, encouraging other banks to lend to the MFI. This is powerful because local communities are transformed as many more entrepreneurs receive loans.

We work in regions with high levels of extreme poverty. We hope that you will join us in amplifying this positive change and lift many more communities out of poverty.
