We are looking for talented and highly motivated Product Management Intern to join our team. The ideal candidate is self-motivated and detail oriented with a good understanding of the e-commerce and internet applications space. This person would be working with the Product Manager on new product conceptualization, validation and definition.
Candidate Profile:
- Highly energetic, and willing to try out new ways of getting things done
- Ability to work well independently with little guidance, as well as with a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Has a good understanding of e-commerce and Internet-based consumer applications space
- Interest in product management
- Ability to make sense of data and understand trends
- Ability to convey complex ideas clearly to common people
- Attention to details
- Excellent documentation skills with office tools like Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Experience: 0 – 1 year of experience. MBA graduates or those pursuing an MBA
Job Responsibilities:
- Extensive market research for the product
- Research specific target markets
- Secondary & Primary data collection, trend analysis
- Creating questionnaire & conduct market surveys
- Identifying and defining target segments
- Analysis of customer research and current market conditions
- Competition analysis and creating competitive report
Good to have expertise:
- Practical knowledge of doing market research, either as a part of MBA curriculum or in a professional role
- Experience in analyzing competition data
- Ready to learn and excel into unknown areas quickly
- Out-of box thinking and open mind to listen to other ideas
