“Adventure Travel Journalism” sounds unknown term in Journalism. But if you have seen National Geographic, Discovery Channels then it wont be so difficult to imagine.
We are one of the active Adventure club in Bangalore conducts activities like: Trekking, Mountaineering, Rock climbing, Paragliding, Scuba diving, Snorkeling, White water rafting, Horse riding, Kayaking, Camping, Island trips and anything which gives adrenal rush to our Members.. We are the hobby grown club having more than 8000 registered members. We have started new venture of sharing the same enthusiasm thru e-Media. We have launched Indian’s first Adventure Travel eMagazine – “GoWild” in Dec 2009. This monthly magazine is just a try to share the information, articles, experience, news etc from Adventure Travel world.
We are looking for Thrill-seeker Journalism students who love Adventure and Travel, capable of putting that thrill into the words to spread across other thrill-seekers and ready to pack there bag on weekends on some adventurous camp/hike.
“GoWild” as individual is not a startup or even an established firm, its backed by our Adventure Club – Bangalore Mountaineering Club. We are trying to experiment with this subject without any funds in hand and looking for students who are ready to try same without stipend.
