Duration:

These projects are available from 15th December 2009 to 30th July 2010 for the duration of 2 months to 7 months.

Intern Selection Procedure :

• The process of selection is through telephonic interview for which dates will be notified to individuals.
• Company can only assist them in finding accommodation in IIT campus and/ or nearby places (Powai, Andheri, Vikhroli etc).
• Students from integrated courses can also apply as per their field and interest.

Here is the list of projects ‘CTech’ Labs are offering:

1) Business Development for CTech LED lights: It requires students who will be working with Architects and Electrical Consultants of clients for studying scope of CTech LED lights. They will also be involved in developing relations with new clients through architects and electrical consultants. The skills required are in areas of Product promotion and positioning, Project study and scheduling as well as a bit of financial analysis. The number of slots is 10 from Business, Civil, Design, Architecture, Management and Economics in Masters/ Bachelors.

2) Development of program/ software modules for online sales: It requires students who will be working in a team for development of program/ software for online sales. The skills required are in areas of software development, programming (HTML, ASP, .Net etc) and internet. The number of slot are 10 from Technology, Computers, IT in Masters/ Bachelors.

3) Development of program/ software modules for online product promotion: It requires students who will be working in a team for development of program/ software for online sales. The skills required are in areas of software development, programming (HTML, ASP, .Net etc) and internet. The number of slot are 10 from Technology, Computers, IT in Masters/ Bachelors.

4) Economic/ Financial analysis of online sales and web-based product promotion methods: It requires students who will be working on economic analysis of online sales methods and web-based product promotion methods. They will be put on preparing a business case for it. The skills required are in areas of finance and economics who can think in multi-dimensional aspects for a business case. Graduates from Computer background will be preferred. The number of slots is 6 from Economics, Finance, and Computer in Masters / Bachelors.

5) Website Development & Design and Maintenance: It requires students who will be working in a team for website development and maintenance. The skills required are in areas of software development, web designing, programming (HTML, ASP, .Net etc) and internet. The number of slot is 6 from Computer, IT and Software in Masters/ Bachelors.

6) Financial Analysis of CTech Labs: The students will be calculating value of shares, calculating financial value of company and calculation of DC for venture capitalists. The skills required are in areas of Finance i.e. deep knowledge of Finance. The number of slots is 6 from Finance and Economics in Masters/ Bachelors.

7) Certification for CTech LED lights and LED product customization: The students will be working for certification of CTech LED products from BEE, ERTL, MNRE and STQC etc. Simultaneously, they will be working on development of CTech LED lights to customize as per needs of clients. The skills required are in areas of electronics and have sufficient knowledge of electronic parameters and have smooth hands on mechanical machines. The number of slots is 6 from Electronics and Electrical in Masters/ Bachelors.

Production Planning and Control of CTech LED lights with customization: The students will be developing production line for CTech LED lights with flexibility to allow customization of lights not to make major changes/ investments. The skills required are in areas of Operations, Production planning, mechanical machine operations and development of production line. The number of slots is 10 from Production, Operations, Mechanical, Electrical and Electronics in Masters/ Bachelors.

9) Marketing of Design Services: A Market Research project in which students will be working on analyzing the need of design services in several industries for different products. The skills required are in the areas of marketing. The number of slots is 4. The students will be preferred with Electronics/ Mechanical/ Electrical engg. background.
