Stipend:

• We will compensate for travel & pay a nominal stipend as per our policy, provided the interns continue for the entire duration.
• This will depend on the time that the intern can spend each week working for SecretSauce Digital.
• At the end of the internship, we will provide a certificate of experience

Duration:

These will be four-eight week internships with an opportunity to convert it into a permanent position.

Internship Content & Copy Writing:

Responsibilities:

• Create advertising copy & messages for web pages, banners, mailers etc
• Write articles that achieve business goals and perform well from an SEO (Search Engine Optimisation) point of view.
• Ideate & identify opportunities to connect consumers with businesses using social media such as ‘Facebook’, ‘Twitter’ & ‘Orkut’
• Develop catchy & action-oriented copy for social media applications in Facebook & Orkut
• Managing our clients’ social media presence on Facebook, Orkut, Twitter & other platforms

Desired candidate profile:

Pre-requisites:

The aspirant must have:

• A good command over the English language.
• A writing style that is original, consistent and reader-friendly
• A flair for writing with an understanding of what works on the internet
• Editing, proof reading & good research skills
• Continuous learning ability & be ready to pick up latest trends & best practices in the industry

Education:

• Any candidate who fulfils the above requirements may apply. Students of BMS/BMM background or those in post-graduate courses with exposure to mass-comm/management/marketing/advertising subjects will have an edge

What this internship is NOT:

• Visiting stores and meeting consumers for conducting surveys
• A passive observation of our firm’s activity
• Meeting your mentor only on the first day and then on the last one for getting a sign-off
• About you giving us that one presentation at the end
• Lip service to the concept of ‘internship’
