- This includes idea conception, strategy, industrial R&D, product development, scale up, packing and marketing.
- These do not find any place in academic programs.

GeoMarine Biotechnologies-We are into biotechnology Research, Education and Training especially in Marine Biotechnology areas. We are the first Marine Biotechnology company in India. The sister company, Alpha & Omega Consultants developed the First Indigenous Probiotics in Aquaculture in India which was successfully commercialized by a Chennai based Company, thus leading to the birth of GeoMarine Biotechnologies.

Please note the internship is for fresh postgraduates prefereably or B.Tech or B.E., in biotechnology and related subjects. Those studying but require project / training should apply under different head to our email ID, training@geomarinebiotech.com. For these trainings candidates need to pay. However, 3 to 6 month training will give priority in placement.

• Had a training on “Protein Domain Swapping” at the National Centre for Biological Sciences (NCBS) under the guidance of Dr. Soudhamini.
• Project on bio-instrumentation in medicine through the use of spirometry for diagnosis of asthma under the guidance of Dr Somashekhar ( Field research trials conducted on sports children- Medical statistics )
• As a project trainee at the Molecular Reproduction and Developmental Genetics department in IISc, Bangalore and underwent Wet lab skills training in:-

o Small Scale Preparation of Plasmid DNA
o Isolation of Genomic DNA: Cancerous cells

• Training on Library Screening Of Tuberrin and DNA imprinting under the guidance of Dr Arun Kumar, IISc at the Molecular Reproduction and Developmental Genetics
• Practical Training on Acupressure therapy (Alternative Medicines ) and practising now.

1. Presented a paper on “Gene Therapy” in the college seminar.
2. Presented a paper on “Reovirus” in the college seminar as a part of
the Curriculum
